Introduction

As your device ages, the battery life often severely degreades. Instead of throwing away your device, consider replacing the battery instead.

    • Detach the Bluetooth module from the left earcup of the headphones.

    • Turn off the Bluetooth module before proceeding.

    • Remove the five screws on the module using a small tri-wing bit and a Phillips head bit.

    • Using an opening tool, gently pry the cover from the sides and open the module.

    • Gently lift the PCB to reveal the battery.

    • There may be a small piece of tape holding the PCB down that will need to be removed.

    • The battery is secured with adhesive to the back of the module. Using the opening tool, gently pry off the battery.

    • Take care not to puncture the battery as you pry it off.
