Make sure the replacement cord is the correct length by laying it alongside the broken cord.

Remove the stopper from the broken cord.

Make a loop close to the ending of the draw cord.

Take the safety pin, pinch it through the loop and then close it.

Insert the loop together with the safety pin into the tunnel drawstring.
-
Push the safety pin forward inside the drawstring and pull the tunnelling material apart behind the pin.

Repeat until you reach the other side of the tunnel and then drag the safety pin out.

Pull out the cord ending until both sides are of equal length and then remove the safety pin.

Take the stopper, push the snap button down to open it and then pass the end of the cord through each side.

Tie both ends of the cord together to form a loop, ensuring the stopper remains securely in place.
