Remove cylinder from barrel

  • 1. Remove the four screws fastening the two bearing blocks to the cylinder. Then lift off the bearing blocks with pinion and flexible shaft.
  • 2. Remove the two screws and lift off the gear wheel assembly.
  • 3. Remove the four screws fastening the bearing disk to the end of the barrel.
  • 4. Carefully pull the cylinder out of the barrel.
  • 5. Cylinder and barrel disassembled.
  • 6. Unscrew micrometer spindle from the nut in the cylinder.
  • 7. The micrometer spindle unscrewed from the cylinder.
