In India, there is a occupational health course, where graduates receive a Diploma in Occupational Health (DOH), formerly the Diploma in Industrial Health (DIH). This is a post graduate two year course for medical graduates, and it is recognised by the Medical council of India (MCI). Presently, this course is conducted by West Bengal University of Health Sciences (WBUHS) at the India Institute of Hygiene and Public Health (AIIH&PH) in Kolkata, West Bengal, India.
