Olsenella absiana is a species of Gram-positive short-rod-shaped, obligately anaerobic bacterium in the family Atopobiaceae. It was originally isolated from the faeces of a domestic pig on a farm in South Korea and described as a novel species in 2024.[1]

The specific epithet absiana is an arbitrary adjective honouring the ABS Research Support Center at the Korea Research Institute of Bioscience and Biotechnology (KRIBB).
