Replacing the cowling

  • 1. Set the middle cover in place.
  • 2. Set the right cover in place.
  • 3. Replace the section thickness knob. The shaft is held in the dial by a spring loaded ball.
  • 4. Support the right side of the machine.
  • 5. Replace the M5 x 16 mm screw with star washer fastening the middle cover at the right front corner.
  • 6. Replace the M5 x 16 mm screw with star washer fastening the side cover at the front of the machine.
  • 7. Replace the M5 x 16 mm screw with star washer fastening the middle cover at the right rear corner.
  • 8. Replace the M5 x 16 mm screw with star washer fastening the side cover at the rear of the machine.
  • 9. Rotate the chassis and replace the left cover.
  • 10. Support the left side of the machine to reach four M5 screws.
  • 11. As on right side, replace the screw fastening the middle cover at the left front corner.
  • 12. Replace the screw fastening the side cover at the front of the machine.
  • 13. Replace the screw fastening the middle cover at the left rear corner.
  • 14. Replace the screw fastening the side cover at the rear of the machine.
  • 15. Remove the support block.
