The Thermotogae is a class of kingdom Thermotogati and domain Bacteria. It's the sole class in the phylum Thermotogota. The class Thermotogae is composed of Gram-negative staining, anaerobic, and mostly thermophilic and hyperthermophilic bacteria.[2][3]
